ARES is the surname and artistic name of a DJ who understands electronic music as an open language, where each space, each moment and each track require a different reading and expression.
His proposal stands out for a versatility that allows him to move between multiple styles naturally, from House, Tech House, Techno, Melodic Techno, Indie Dance, Hard Groove or Afro House, to other territories of electronic music, adapting his sessions to the character of the event and the energy that the situation demands. A musical breadth that has led him to perform in very different contexts, from festivals and clubs to underground venues, evenings and sunsets. Part of this diversity is reflected in festival posters such as ElectroAstvrica or Camp Party, sessions in clubs such as Delicatessen Club (León), Sala Perfil (Astorga) or Sala Velvet (Bembibre), radio programs such as Brutal Sound Music Radio Show or performances in venues and terraces of very different formats where electronic music takes different forms depending on the space and the moment. Different stages, schedules and audiences that have contributed to developing their ability to adapt their musical language to each session without losing their sound personality.
ARES is committed to building each session paying special attention to the reading of the characteristics that define each event, selecting tracks that harmonize with the occasion and presenting them in a way that merges with the environment.
Influenced by names such as Paco Osuna, Joris Voorn, Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin or Eric Prydz, his concept is developed through tracks with personality and a process in which bases, melodic elements, vocals and textures are fused that give depth and character to his mixes. A construction that seeks to respect the DNA of each track and, at the same time, provide a unique musical signature according to what the moment requires.
In the booth, ARES understands that the true personality of a DJ is not only in what he plays and in his technique, but in how he manages to transform a musical selection into an experience for the dance floor with its own identity through his mixes.
