Anyma is the solo project of Matteo Milleri, Italian-American electronic music producer, DJ, and multidisciplinary artist — also known as one half of the influential duo Tale of Us, and co-founder of Afterlife Records. Born in New York and raised in Italy, Milleri met Carmine Conte (MRAK) in Milan while studying sound engineering at the SAE Institute. Together they formed Tale of Us and relocated to Berlin, where they became one of the most respected acts in the global electronic music scene. In 2016, they co-founded Afterlife Records, which has since evolved into one of the leading labels and event brands in melodic techno.
In live performance, Anyma has redefined what electronic music shows can be. He became the first electronic artist ever to hold a residency at Sphere Las Vegas, with "Afterlife presents Anyma: The End of Genesys" running from December 2024 to March 2025 across 12 sold-out shows drawing over 200,000 attendees. The production featured custom TEILE Elektronik controllers, robotic cello arms, timecoded visuals in 16K resolution, and guest appearances from Ellie Goulding, FKA Twigs, Grimes, John Summit, and Yeat. Beyond the Sphere, Anyma has headlined Ultra Miami 2025 in a historic b2b with Solomun, held a summer residency at [UNVRS] in Ibiza, performed at Tomorrowland, Coachella, Sziget Festival, and delivered a sold-out show at the Pyramids of Giza unveiling his new "Quantum Genesys" concept. In 2024, he served as visual creative director for The Weeknd's One Night Only concert in São Paulo. He also co-directed the opening ceremony of the 2025 League of Legends World Championship in China. Ranked #10 on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs in 2025, announced as a 2026 Coachella headliner, and with a growing creative partnership with Oakley, Anyma continues to push the boundaries of what live electronic music and art can become.
