ANTIKAMNIA is an electronic music project born in Bogotá in 2022, built around an idea: to generate well-being through euphoria.
The name ANTIKAMNIA is inspired by an ancient painkiller produced in the early 20th century. Although the drug's history ended up being controversial, its original purpose of relieving pain became a metaphor for the project: to use music as a way to transform darkness into light, emotion, energy, and positive experiences.
For ANTIKAMNIA, electronic music is much more than a succession of songs. It is a language capable of building a journey, developing a story and generating sensations that go beyond words. Each session seeks to connect depth, melody, groove, emotion and euphoria to create an atmosphere in which people can dance, feel free and connect with the moment.
Its sound mainly transits between Deep House, Progressive House, Nu Disco, House, Indie Dance, Progressive Trance, Classic Trance and Raw Trance, usually moving between 120 / 132 BPM, with the possibility of reaching higher energy levels or BPM of lower ranges depending on the context and response of the track.
The musical selection and construction of their sets are aimed at generating a constant evolution. From deep and contemplative moments to passages of greater intensity and euphoria, ANTIKAMNIA seeks that each presentation has its own identity and that the music dialogues with the space, the audience and the energy of the moment.
Since the start of the project in 2022, ANTIKAMNIA has made multiple presentations in different contexts, including clubs, electronic events, art fairs, fashion, brand activations, and private experiences.
His career includes presentations at Before, The Red Rooms, High House, 303 Lab, Afuego, among others, as well as participation in experiences related to art and culture.
He has also been part of events and collaborations with collectives of the local electronic scene, including The Lab Sessions, and is co-founder and resident DJ of Lumina Collective, a project from which he participates in the creation and development of spaces dedicated to electronic music and its culture.
ANTIKAMNIA has also taken its proposal to contexts that transcend the club, participating in art fairs with Taller de las Moscas, events related to eroticism, fashion settings and brand activations, including experiences for DiDi and Native Instruments.
Its experience thus extends to different types of spaces and audiences, from dance floors and electronic events to art, culture, gastronomy, fashion, brands and private meetings.
Beyond a specific genre, ANTIKAMNIA seeks to build a recognizable identity from the experience it generates: music that invites you to dance, excites, connects and turns euphoria into a form of well-being.
ANTIKAMNIA is not only music; it is the expression of love through the language of music.
