ANGL

ANGL is a London-based DJ with Angolan roots whose sets sit where Afro House meets tech: deep, percussive and built to keep a room moving. Music has always been part of her life. Growing up, she danced and played in a school band, soaking up everything around her, from the sounds of her Angolan roots to the world she grew up in. DJing came later, through friends who DJ and nights out spent on the dancefloor. She wanted to try it, and it came naturally. Today, ANGL reads the room as much as she plays to it, shaping her sets around the energy in front of her. She has played at E1, Ballie Ballerson, Egg London and The Camden, and has taken her sound on EXT Radio. For ANGL, a great set is a shared feeling, one where the crowd stops thinking and starts dancing.
