Based in Latvia, Amazona is a DJ whose sound is a direct reflection of her global travels and musical upbringing. Her signature style-a seamless blend of Afro drums and Latin house-was born from a period living in Bali, where she was fully immersed in the island’s thriving Afro House scene. This experience, combined with a lifelong passion for Latin culture, sparked her mission: to bridge these two rhythmic worlds into one cohesive dancefloor experience.

Before discovering house music, Amazona’s world was shaped by RnB and Pop culture. This foundation heavily influences her selection today, specifically her focus on vocals. She treats the human voice as a primary instrument in her sets, often incorporating her own custom mashups and edits that layer iconic 2000s vocals over modern, percussive grooves. These "throwback" moments provide a sense of familiarity and energy that makes her sets accessible yet underground.

Her career highlights include being a member of the "What’s Up Riga" collective, fostering the Afrobeat scene in the Baltics alongside DJs from across Europe. In 2025, she expanded her solo reach internationally, performing a summer-long residency in Mannheim, Germany, and playing a series of rooftop sets and exclusive events in Istanbul.

Whether she’s playing a deep Tech House set for an underground party or a vocal-heavy Afro-Latin set on a terrace, Amazona’s focus is always on the groove and the message in the music.
