Álvaro Torres Dj

Álvaro Torres is a Colombian DJ who has been building his style around Tech House, Groove House and Latin sounds. His way of playing seeks something very clear: that people connect with the music, enjoy the moment and do not want to leave the floor.

In his sets he likes to mix strong basses, percussions with a lot of flavor, Latin vocals and electronic sounds that grow little by little. It's not just about playing song after song, but about reading the track, understanding what people are feeling and taking the energy from less to more.

One of the things that most identifies his proposal is that mix between electronic and Latin. Álvaro seeks to maintain the groove of house, but without neglecting those roots that make the music feel closer, hotter and with more flavor. That is why Afro influences, tribal sounds, vocals in Spanish and even details reminiscent of reggaeton and other Latin genres can appear in his presentations.

His style can range from darker and more elegant sounds to much more upbeat and explosive moments. It all depends on the place, the time and the audience. For him, every party is different and every set has to feel different.

More than just standing behind a booth, Álvaro wants each presentation to have a story and for people to take something from that night. His goal is to continue growing within the scene, strengthen his own sound and take his proposal to clubs, festivals and events inside and outside Colombia.
