Full bio

Alex Guinda, an artist born in Barcelona, started behind vinyl with the most underground and hard genres such as Schranz, Hardtek, Drum and bass, Raggatek playing in venues such as MamaMandawa and private alternative parties of the 2000s in Barcelona.

Later he added tech house as a base, but also along with house, minimal deep and techno as he was a partner of the Guaraná event at Les Teules de la Costa Brava in Pals.

He spent seven years as the resident and leading the riders of the headliner artists. Sharing the booth with national and international profiles such as Mr. Barbara, Ken Ishi, Paul Kalkbrenner, Alexander Kowalski, Chus y Ceballos, Andres Campo, Hector Couto, Edu Imbernon among many others.

His more than twenty years behind vinyl have consolidated his sound together with his technique in an energetic and powerful environment, always looking for dynamism and interaction with the track.

He is currently producing his own basic music in the tech house genre although as in his sessions he does not rule out bringing productions of other styles since his references go beyond a single artist, looking for tracks that guarantee this power that describes him so much.

Alex Guinda, an artist born in Barcelona, got his start behind the turntables with the most underground and hard-hitting genres—such as Schranz, Hardtek, Drum and Bass, and Raggatek—playing at venues like MamaMandawa and alternative private parties in Barcelona during the 2000s.

Later, he added tech house to his repertoire, though he also incorporated house, minimal deep, and techno, as he was a partner in the Guaraná event at Les Teules on the Costa Brava in Pals.

He spent seven years as the resident DJ and handled the rider requests for headlining artists. He shared the booth with national and international artists such as Mr. Barbara, Ken Ishi, Paul Kalkbrenner, Alexander Kowalski, Chus y Ceballos, Andrés Campo, Héctor Couto, and Edu Imbernon, among many others.

His more than twenty years behind the turntables have solidified his sound and technique within an energetic and powerful atmosphere, always seeking dynamism and interaction with the dance floor.

He is currently producing his own music, primarily in the tech house genre; however, as in his sets, he doesn't rule out including productions in styles that border on peak acid techno, among others, since his influences extend beyond any single artist—he seeks out tracks that deliver the raw energy that defines his style.
