ALECE

ALECE is a Los Angeles-based DJ, sound curator, and vibe architect whose artistry lives at the intersection of music, fashion, culture, and atmosphere. She is the creator of Fashion House Music—a signature sound that reimagines iconic hip-hop and Latin music through house, enriched by R&B, disco, Afro house, soul, and global rhythms. More than simply playing records, ALECE creates emotional worlds: stylish, soulful, culturally fluent sets designed to move people and transform a performance into a shared experience.

Her live DJ work includes curated rooftop performances at TenTen Rooftop in DTLA, where she develops and performs her signature set concepts before an intimate audience.

Her creative perspective was formed long before she stepped behind the decks. Growing up in 1970s San Francisco during transformative movements for civil rights, women’s rights, and LGBTQ+ visibility, ALECE learned early that cultural differences should be celebrated. That belief in inclusivity, individuality, and human connection continues to shape everything she creates.

After dedicating 32 years to education and counseling—helping young people pursue the colleges, careers, and lives of their dreams—ALECE was inspired by one of her own students to pursue a dream of her own. In 2018, shortly after attending the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, she returned to her creative roots and launched Blaxicana Couture. A subsequent journey to Japan inspired her signature approach to wearable art, combining denim with richly colored brocades and globally influenced textiles.

Her work eventually expanded beyond fashion into immersive music, art, and cultural experiences in Los Angeles and New York. Through Blaxicana Fest, ALECE produced an event at Soho House New York during New York Fashion Week in September 2022. In October 2023, she produced a City of Los Angeles-sponsored LA Fashion Week experience at Pershing Square in DTLA that welcomed more than 1,000 attendees. What began in 2019 as an intimate gathering of 28 people grew into a large-scale cultural experience through creative vision, community, and collaboration.

Those experiences taught ALECE how music, fashion, environment, and human energy can come together to create an unforgettable room. Her evolution into music is not a departure from that journey—it is its clearest expression.

House of Roses is ALECE’s signature creative universe, bringing Fashion House Music to life through four distinct set experiences: Pool, Runway, Gallery, and Desert. The Pool Set is warm, sensual, and sun-drenched. The Runway Set is bold, glamorous, and fashion-forward. The Gallery Set is artful, soulful, and globally inspired. The Desert Set delivers celebratory, high-impact festival energy. Each chapter creates a different atmosphere while remaining unmistakably ALECE.
