Alber Grooves

Hello, my name is Alberto Sánchez Guirado, DJ Alber-Grooves, and I am at your disposal to bring music, atmosphere and personality to all kinds of parties, private events and corporate celebrations.

My career as a DJ began in the Canary Islands at the beginning of 1989, when, at just 14 years old, I began to develop my passion for music and club culture. Since then, I have had the opportunity to go through numerous clubs, discos and venues, including Discoteca Joker, Pacha, Hipódromo, 928 Dance Club, Maui, Pub Big Apple, Pub Tequila, Pub Louisiana, Bar Papagayo, Pisto Show Bar, Bar El Templo and Pub Baobab, among others.

My first steps were especially linked to the music of the 80s and music aimed at international audiences, starting at the Joker Nightclub in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote. Those first years were fundamental to gain experience, develop a wide musical culture and learn to interpret and connect with different types of audiences.

One of the most important moments of my career came in 1993, when I participated and won the Disc-Jockey Championship held at the Chic Disco de Sant Cugat in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona). The championship had the participation of approximately 30 DJs and took place over three weekends. As a prize, I was offered the possibility of working as a main DJ at Studio 54 Barcelona, one of the benchmarks of the nightlife scene of that time.

During my career I also had the opportunity to receive proposals to play in five clubs in Ibiza during one of the most emblematic stages of the island, an experience that I finally could not carry out for personal reasons. Without a doubt, one of those opportunities that are part of my history and that I will always remember.

Over the years I have participated in all kinds of events and celebrations, including weddings, birthdays, bachelor parties, private parties, corporate events and different social events, adapting each session to the type of audience, the space and the characteristics of each event.

I currently have more than three decades of professional experience in the world of music and nightlife. My musical proposal is especially oriented towards electronic music, with a selection that covers different styles and aspects of the current and underground scene:

In addition to my career as a DJ, I currently continue to expand my knowledge through music production studies, with the aim of continuing to evolve, develop my own sound and provide an increasingly personal proposal.

My philosophy is simple: music should create an experience. It's not just about playing songs, but about knowing how to read the environment, understand the audience and build a session with rhythm, personality and coherence.
