AFAR

AFAR is a Venezuelan DJ, producer and creative director based in Buenos Aires, whose artistic proposal redefines the limits of Hard Techno in the local underground circuit.

Their sound is a hybrid that crosses the rawness of Industrial and Hard Techno with the energy of Neo-Rave and Hard Dance, breaking any linearity through disruptive remixes of pop and rock under a queer identity free of labels. Among his aesthetic and sound references are artists such as Omaks, KX CHR, KLOFAMA, Angy Kore, Nico Moreno and Sara Landry. This conceptual vision is transferred to his visual facet, where he directs and produces his own multi-camera video sets, translating the intensity of his music into dark and immersive aesthetic experiences.

In December 2024, after a closing at the PSADILLA party, he formally joined the project as co-producer, artistic curator and resident. His booth tour includes clubs and cycles of the local circuit such as VOX, Vita, Club Dorado, The Gallery, La Once11 and Inside the Rave, sharing the booth with DJs from the local and regional scene such as Ruthless, Maag, Loon, Juan Nuciforo and Ana Brusso.

Focused on the expansion of its artistic identity, AFAR is currently working on the production of its own studio material, the development of a new independent party cycle and the realization of its next audiovisual delivery, projects scheduled to see the light of day at the end of this year.
