2KI is a Novi Sad DJ moving between hardgroove, raw techno and schranz. There’s no real interest in keeping those worlds separated — if a track hits right, it belongs in the set.
The sound is built around speed, heavy percussion and grooves that don't really give you much time to breathe. There’s a constant push towards something harder, dirtier or just slightly more messed up than what came before it. The sets can move from proper rolling hardgroove into full-blown schranz territory, but the transition is never about showing off a genre switch. It’s about keeping the pressure where it needs to be.
Almost two years behind the decks, 2KI has already played at Drugstore in Belgrade and holds a residency at The Sting in Novi Sad. Since then, the focus has stayed pretty simple: finding good records, playing them loud and making the dancefloor work for it.
There’s a certain lack of moderation to the whole thing. Too fast is fine. Too heavy is fine. If something is filthy enough to make sense, it probably belongs in the bag.
No genre loyalty. No interest in playing it safe.
