Nicolau Toledo Arderiu was born and raised in a small town near Barcelona, a seemingly quiet environment that contrasted with the sound intensity that would soon begin to define his life. From a young age, he was enveloped by the energy of electronic music, a language that he not only heard, but felt as his own.
At the age of 16 he took his first steps on the scene, starting to be played in clubs such as Mamá Mandawa and at illegal parties where music was lived without filters or rules. Those first experiences marked the beginning of a path guided by the rawness of sound and freedom of expression.
At the age of 24, his journey took him to Granada, where he found a new dimension within rave culture. There he immersed himself even more in the underground circuit, participating in numerous rave parties and consolidating his presence until he played at the renowned Sala Tren, one of the spaces that would end up becoming a special place in his career.
True to a hard-hitting style, Nicolau has always been attracted to the most hardcore and aggressive sounds. His music does not seek to please, but to transmit: each session is a reflection of his inner world. In their mixtures, anger and euphoria, falls and the impulse to move forward coexist. Their acid melodies and thunderous bass drums work as a channel where their joys and frustrations find an outlet.
Four years ago he began his journey with turntables, discovering in vinyl a purer and more physical connection with music. Since then, this passion has not stopped growing, becoming an inseparable part of his identity.
Today, Nicolau doesn't just play music: he lives it, transforms it and uses it as a way of understanding himself and the world around him.
